Humanitarian Aid Within Ukraine

The Help Us Help and Help Us Help UA teams provide humanitarian support from within Ukraine. These items are packaged and sourced by the Help Us Help UA team and distributed to program participants and relocation centers. These items include life-saving over-the-counter medications, diapers, and non-perishable foods.

We continue to collect humanitarian aid requests and maintain an open line of communication with:

  • 137 past and present program participants (including orphans and children with disabilities)

  • 36 leaders of orphanages in Ukraine

Some humanitarian aid requests include:

Misto Dobra

Misto Dobra (The City of Goodness) is a social service centre and a shelter for mothers and children based in Ukraine. Since the Russian invasion, Misto Dobra has taken in hundreds of families and children.

Help Us Help was able to provide Misto Dobra with new appliances for their new shelter, which will house another 100 mothers and children escaping the war.

Camping Supplies and Sewing Machines

Help Us Help has donated all appropriate summer and winter camp supply inventory to assist internally displaced people relocating in western Ukraine. We have also provided a group of Ukrainian volunteers with our sewing machines to create sleeping bags and warming blankets to be distributed at evacuation centres.
