Help Us Help Summer Camp 2025

This summer, Help Us Help will welcome 200 orphaned and institutionalized children from four corners of Ukraine to our annual Summer Camp in the Carpathian Mountains. For 14 days, these children will have the opportunity to learn transferable skills in a safe, nurturing environment, guided by qualified professionals using a holistic approach.

About Help Us Help:

Founded in 1993, Help Us Help has provided over $30 million in charitable aid and programming in support of education, literacy, arts and culture, social work, civil society, and more. Over the past three decades, the organization has mentored and supported orphaned children in Ukraine, many of whom have grown into independent adults and community leaders. As challenges continue to evolve, the need for our programs in the coming years will be greater than ever.

About Help Us Help Summer Camp:

For over three decades, Help Us Help has been working on the ground in Ukraine, providing support to vulnerable communities. During this pivotal time for Ukraine, our educational Summer Camp program offers a life-changing experience for children, built on trauma-informed care, mentorship, and restorative justice. Through these principles, we help institutionalized children feel seen, supported, and empowered, guiding them toward a brighter future. The lessons and connections made at camp serve as defining moments in their lives, with Help Us Help remaining a trusted resource they can continue to turn to for support and guidance.

This August, like every summer, the campers will receive essential humanitarian aid and medical checkups. They will also engage in activities designed to encourage emotional growth and strengthen their well-being. Through creative workshops, outdoor adventures, and team-building exercises, they will develop key life skills such as working in teams, leadership, and self-confidence.

The Help Us Help Summer Camp experience empowers its participants to envision a brighter future, one where they can achieve their full potential. Many former campers return as counsellors, sharing the knowledge and confidence they’ve gained to help guide the next generation of Ukraine’s leaders.

Donate today and help us reach our goal of sending 200 institutionalized children to Summer Camp! Our programs are needed now more than ever.
