About Help Us Help:
Founded in 1993, Help Us Help has provided over $30 million in charitable aid working directly in Ukraine to support vulnerable communities through trauma-informed programming, mentorship, and restorative care. As Ukraine continues to face ongoing challenges, the need for our programs in the coming years remains greater than ever.
About Help Us Help Summer Camp:
This August, 200 institutionalized and at-risk youth from across Ukraine will attend our 28th Annual Summer Camp Experience in the Carpathian Mountains. In a safe and nurturing environment, trained professionals will provide holistic support to enhance participants’ emotional well-being, stability, and personal growth.
In addition to providing essential humanitarian aid and medical checkups, campers will take part in creative and educational workshops, outdoor activities, and team-building programs designed to cultivate leadership, stability, self-confidence, and interpersonal skills. Our Summer Camp Experience inspires children to envision a brighter future while equipping them with transferable life skills they can carry into adulthood.
Since russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, millions of Ukrainian children have faced displacement, trauma, isolation, and ongoing hardship. More than 60,000 youth currently living in institutions across Ukraine continue to experience the devastating effects of war. At Help Us Help, we remain committed to supporting vulnerable children through humanitarian assistance, trauma-informed programming, mentorship, restorative care, and educational opportunities. Your support helps provide essential aid, medical care, and life-changing experiences to children affected by war and instability.
Donate today and help us reach our goal of sending 200 institutionalized children to Summer Camp! Our programs are needed now more than ever.
